Hi! I’m Brandon Cantrell, Digital Marketer & Copywriter. Here you’ll find a small assortment of my work. My expertise include digital marketing, copywriting, editing, web design, online campaign management, and audio production.
Please feel free to contact me for consultations, job inquiries, collaborations, etc. Hang out for a bit, shoot me an email if you like, and follow me on social.
I’m currently employed as a Content Strategist at Digital Air Strike. I write social media ads, OTT video scripts, landing pages, blogs, and organic social media content for hundreds of clients in industries including automotive, retail, education, and technology.
In this role, I also serve as Managing Editor for BestRide.com. I develop our content strategy and lead a team of internal and external writers. My duties regarding BestRide include assigning blog topics, editing blogs and uploading them to WordPress, managing our content calendar, coordinating SEO and website maintenance, and more.
Most of the content I produce is included in a nondisclosure agreement with my employer, but if you would like to see specific types of content, I can produce examples on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to my daily work on behalf of clients, I sometimes write company blogs and work on one-off projects for the company’s marketing department.
Thunken Philosofers Podcast
Started with my two friends, Isaac and Blake, the Thunken Philosofers has served as a great opportunity for me to hone my skills as a digital marketer. From graphic design to audio production to social media – pretty much everything you see on our website was created by me. The only exceptions would be our logo (which I worked with a graphic designer on) and the show notes (which our cohost Blake writes up into bullet points).
Here’s a short list of skills I have developed out of the Thunken Philosofers project:
- Web Design
- Audio Production
- Graphic Design
- Project Management
- Social Media Marketing
Run For Aimee’s Animal Sanctuary
In late November 2018, a coworker approached me about managing a GoFundMe campaign benefitting a local animal shelter. My coworker, Matthew Hinman, is an ultra runner and he would be running the Across The Years 24 hour race on that New Year’s Eve. The idea was that he would have people pledge a per mile donation to benefit Aimee’s Farm Animal Sanctuary in Gilbert, AZ.
The race was a little more than one month away, so needless to say – we had to hit the ground running!
What I did:
- Wrote up the GoFundMe page
- Set up and managed social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
- Collected pledges
At the end of it all, we raised $550 in donations through the GoFundMe page and we helped raise awareness for a wonderful local nonprofit.
